The way we see ourselves is crucial for how the world sees us. And the world can be cruel. When you don’t look and act like everyone else, the world can be your enemy. If you let it get to you, you prove nothing except that the world is right and thus it will crush you. And I will admit, It’s really easy to give up and say,”You win, world. Congratulations,” but what does that prove? That you can give up? Well news flash! Anyone can give up! It’s the easiest thing in the world to do! The real challenge is moving forward and throwing yourself over those road blocks! Showing the world that you may fall sometimes, but you will always get back up stronger than ever! That nothing will ever hold you down!

                I have tourette's syndrome and I am constantly falling. I am constantly being pushed down by the world. But I also never stay down. I know sometimes its tough but I can’t afford to let it get to me. The world has built a glass ceiling for me and I can’t wait to break threw it! If you let the world keep you down than you’re letting the world keep that glass ceiling above your head and make judgment on just how far you’ll go in life! You have to grab yourself by the bootstraps and pull yourself back up! If you don’t, who will?
