Brit's Beauty Corner Review AND Giveaway Enter Now!!!

Hello dear ones!
Well, it is officially cold-weather season and I am LOVING it! In fact, I have been so in love with sleeping in, wrapped in my new electric blanket, that I have been in virtual hibernation mode when it comes to keeping up with my blogs. For this, you have my sincerest apologies. Fear not, for I am back and have some awesomeness in store for you to make amends for my cold-weather laziness. I realize this blog was supposed to be a winged liner tutorial – but due to my bootleg camera acting ratchet, I am substituting with a great review and a pretty sweet giveaway contest – deets on that will come a little later.

To get this PAR-TAY started, I want to tell you all about my hot new product find – “Swagger Cosmetics”. I found out about this amazing new line of cruelty free, 100% vegan makeup through another random Instagram search one night (I am seriously loving these IG product finds!). Now, don’t worry, I’m not a tree-hugger. Nor do I go around with a bucket of red paint, waiting to fling it at the next mink coat wearing diva as I scream “Fur is Murder!” For my anti-hybrid, gas guzzling, bacon lovers, I know you probably don’t give a hoot about anything vegan, and normally it’s not a huge deciding factor for me either when it comes to my cosmetic choices. That said, I’m certainly an animal lover and I can’t bear the thought of forcing a cute furry friend to test out harsh chemicals and hideous lip colors in order for it to make it to my face (YES I’m a hypocrite). So no matter where you fall in the animal friendly product spectrum, it is wonderful to know that the ridiculously high quality products that Blake K of “Swagger Cosmetics” offers are completely guilt free!

For my first foray into the Swagger world, I started with an order of a few pigments and a lip mattifying powder. The pigment colors were dope in their own right, but the names took it to a whole new level. The following is the list of names in no particular order: Swagger (had to get the mascot color), Young Rich & Flashy, Gold Digger, and Red Bone. Dope squared right!? Swagger is a great sparkly blue, Young Rich & Flashy is a translucent gold shimmer dust that is an excellent highlight, Gold Digger is an intense rich gold, and Red Bone is a deep sparkly maroon-ish/brownish red. While I realize that my descriptions are fantastic and not at all vague, I’ve also got you covered with a swatch pic.
