I see the world passing me by I see the hate and I ask myself why I wonder why we don’t try Try to fix it.
There are two types of people in the world – Those you love; and those you don’t know
We as humanity have the ability to love, but we choose to put hate in the world. I don’t understand why.
I was sitting with some friends and the subject came up about this guy at the table next to us, Guy 1: “Hey you know so-n-so? He’s so weird, He sits at that same table every day by himself, and he’s so stuck up. He thinks he knows everything!” Guy 2: “He’s my friend, and actually he’s really nice. He’s really into anime” Guy 1: “I’m sorry, I didn’t know. I never would have said anything if I had known you were friends with him”
Now, what Guy 2 did was really cool! He shut down the hate with one simple fact, “He’s my friend” and he wasn’t rude about it. But most importantly, it worked. I don’t see why we can’t all do that. I think if we could all stand up for someone we could shut down so much hate.
I think that one day There will be love in the world Love so strong And love so true Love that can heal Me and you.
